Welcoming a new baby is a beautiful transition but it can also feel overwhelming, emotional and exhausting. At The Village Doula in Warners Bay, we provide compassionate postpartum doula support for mothers, babies and families throughout the Lake Macquarie and Newcastle region.
From gentle in home postpartum care and evidence based infant massage classes to supportive mums and bubs groups, our services are designed to help new mothers feel nurtured, confident and connected during the early stages of parenthood.
In conjunction with the Sick Sense, we also offer baby and infant CPR and First Aid workshops at the BCP Hub in Warners Bay, helping parents and caregivers gain practical skills and confidence to respond in emergency situations.

INITIAL DISCOVERY CALL

A discovery call is a relaxed, no-obligation chat where we can talk about where you’re at, what support you’re looking for and how I may be able to help. It’s also a chance for you to ask questions, learn more about my services. It’s also a chance for you to ask questions, learn more about my services and get a feel for whether having me in your village feels right for you. There’s no pressure to book anything afterwards — just a friendly conversation and a chance to explore your options.
THE DAD CAVE
1 hour 30 minutes | $30.00
A relaxed space for dads to connect, have a chat and meet other dads navigating the same stage of life. No awkward introductions or pressure- just good conversation, practical support and a chance to build your own village. Featuring an expert guest speaker each week, complimentary beer or soft drink of your choice and tasty snacks.
THE VILLAGE AT PIXIE PLAY - INDOOR PLAYGROUND
1 hour 30 minutes
This ticket includes entry for one parent and one baby under 6 months to enjoy gentle, age-appropriate play, connection and time together in a supportive space. Parents small hot beverage and toastie included in price (alternative milks will incur an additional charge). Additional children, parents lunch options and kids snackboxes can be added to the booking

WELCOME, I’M ALY, FOUNDER OF THE VILLAGE DOULA
I support mothers, carers and families across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, the Central Coast and the Hunter through pregnancy, postpartum and early parenthood with compassionate, evidence informed care.
As a mum of three and former Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse with more than 20 years experience, I understand the emotional and practical challenges that can come with motherhood and I’m passionate about helping families feel supported, nurtured and never alone during this important stage of life.
